Bulkheads are cut. The angled pieces have been cut, fillit applied, fiberglass, and epoxy. The underside of each was coated in epoxy first. The front bulkhead also has a structural support to ensure the paddler can use it as a footbrace. This has been edged with fillit, glassed, and epoxied as well.
Later photos show the tops of the bulkheads. They will be epoxied and attached tomorrow. I'm still looking to fiberglass the exterior on Sunday. The end is near.
The weight is up to 21 pounds. The check when rub rails were added was at 19.5. Still looking pretty light.
